Treasurers Report

Total fundraising for Reign 14 is $87, 572.70

Total given to charities: $56,333.90

Fundraising for Reign 14 is closed.

Total fundraising for Reign 15 is $3,046.00

Anniversary fund is for the College of Monarchs . It is used to purchase a crown for the Empress and a medallion for the Emperor for their Decade Walk. Total in the Anniversary fund is $442.00.

Vice President Report

New Vice President and Mike Burke and outgoing Vice President will begin the transition process.

Letters from Monarchs need to be done by Friday October 21 for November newsletter.

Newsletter stuffing is Monday November 24, 6:30 pm @ Shooters

 

Membership Chair

Need renewal letters finished; to be done at newsletter stuffing

Need extra membership forms to be given out at shows

 

College Rep.

October 9 will be looking at Southgate House for $2000.00

        Includes sound and can go outside

        Sit down dinner – price will be the same

        2nd floor to change for performers

        Looking at host hotel

        Shuttle buses every 15 minutes from host hotel

        Figuring 250 people for coronation

Investitures will be October 23 @ The Dock 6pm

 

Reigning Monarchs

January Turnabout show in London , Ontario

Will have approximately 7 Canadian Courts to come for the show TBA

Fundraiser to cut Cybil’s hair TBA

Terrell did a command in Chicago and was fantastic

Shows:

Ø     Investitures Doors open at 5:30; all performers and Royal Family need to be there by 5pm

Ø     11/4 Old Street

Ø     11/5 Spectrum

Ø     11/6 Katrina Relief through Caracole House for Montrose Clinic in Houston . Host: Tom Wherry. Money will be donated to Caracole House which will in turn give the money to Montrose clinic which has services for HIV/AIDS.

Ø     11/18 Toyland Show for AVNK- looking for families who can not provide Christmas for families in Kentucky .

 

Tree of Life – trees will be placed in bars and you purchase a gift card for someone you care about. Cards are a $1.00 apiece. All money goes to Caracole House.

 

Bus Tour  $1000.00 cap; $500.00 deposit which is refundable.

                36 seat bus/ Peterman is the cheapest

New Business

CD’s closed – Jon Wagner

Taking a monetary donation for the Widow Norton who is ill.

        Monarchs do not feel comfortable taking money from charities.

        Motion to take money from Anniversary fund by Ginger Snap; withdrawn by Ginger Snap

        Individual donations taken and money will be sent courtesy of the reign.

Mike Burke – protocol list, show list and dignitary lit will all be placed on one sheet of paper for every show. Given to Monarchs for approval.

DVD’s still for sale.

General Membership

*tabled Bobby Kettnacher’s motion to move meeting to Tuesday nights.
