Volunteers of Cincinnati, Inc. (AVOC)-AIDS
Volunteers of Cincinnati, Inc. (AVOC) was
founded in 1983 in response to the first
AIDS related death in the Cincinnati
area. As the number if HIV challenged
grew so did AVOC's services. AVOC's
mission is to provide support services
for HIV/AIDS infected individuals, their
families, friends and loved ones, and to
provide HIV prevention education in the
Greater Cincinnati area through
volunteers and a professional staff. AVOC
provides services in the tri-state region
of Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky
and Southeastern Indiana.

Caracole
- Caracole takes
its name from the French word that
describes an encircling shell that
provides shelter and refuge even as it
grows and expands.
This is what we offer the person living
with HIV/AIDS: a safe, secure environment
that allows them to live and grow in a
family-like setting of mutual support and
caring.
