College Meeting - September 23, 2007
Called to order at 1:16 p.m. at the Public Library in Covington, Kentucky
Attendance: Tom Wherry, Gypsy Russell, Rachel Rogers, Christina Blake, Greg Barker, Jim Smith, Jeff Stemmer, Jay Rickels and Ginger Snap.
Special Attendants: President of the Board Jon Wagner and Miss Sylvia.
Jon is attending to present the facts to Miss Sylvia. Jon: You owe this room, the board and the membership an explanation.
Each transaction in question is gone through with Miss Sylvia.
1. $349 deposit. Sylvia suggests we take the money from the Funny Bone event where it was allocated and move back to Miss Queen City. The same should apply to the Harrison event and the Rachel event.
Tom: if we did that Gene Sell would be very unhappy.
Ginger: The check was written on May 2 for a May 13 or 14th show? That doesn’t make sense.
Two other shows are missing. The Old Street show should have been all cash yet it has a Doug Moore ($120) check in it for the Funny Bone tables he purchased. The show also is $20 short from the show sheet per what was deposited.
Sylvia: It should have been credited to Funny Bone and it wasn’t.
Tom: You (Sylvia) took documentation packet on 11/13/06. When asked for cooperation in resolving this matter you didn’t. When asked for documentation you might have you put us off.
$349 marked as Funny should be Miss Queen City according to Sylvia.
Tom: Then the funny bone is short.
Ginger: so let’s sit down with Gene Sell for his documentation.
Sylvia: I want a break down of all the money. (Ginger writes it down for her).
Tom: Sylvia you have all that.
Sylvia: The Coronation total doesn’t add up.
Ginger: Sylvia you have it right there in your hand. Your were given that on November 13 of 06.
Sylvia: It doesn’t add up.
Ginger: The breakdown is below it and it should probably be more.
Tom: The funny bone total was $8,105 or approximately that amount.
Ginger: Sylvia do you understand the $20 and $120 amounts?
Sylvia: Yes (understands shortage of $20 at Old Street sow and $120.00 from another deposit) but I can’t tell you what happened.
Jim: This is fraud plain and simple.
Sylvia: Where to you come up with the figures from Harrison & Rachel’s events?
Ginger: There are no show sheets for Harrison or Rachel’s shows, I questioned them on how much they made and these were the figures I was given. Honestly, I think you should take these figures because they were probably higher.
Rachel: Sylvia if you remember correctly YOU announced the total of my show yourself on the microphone that night. Why should people do this? They should bust their ass and for what someone else to line their pockets!
Sylvia: She turned in all show sheets she had.
Jim: In the 2 boxes Sylvia had in her possession 99% of it was miscellaneous items and had nothing to do with the Reign.
Tom: Per Scott Knox this is our judiciary responsibility to resolve this. This was NOT a witch hunt. We questioned a Coronation bill and that opened up other questions, which led to other questions. Otherwise we may have never known.
Greg: Syl can only answer these questions because she made 99% of the deposits for the Reign. Gene announced $8500 at the Funny bone event.
Sylvia: Maybe Gene put the Rosie’s check for $500 in twice.
Tom: Does EVERYONE in this room agree the Funny Bone total is $8105? (Everyone in the room agrees). Then if we take off $349 away then it’s short!!! The deposit can’t go to 2 events/places.
Sylvia: The figure is inflated! (Though she just agreed to the $8105).
Jay: Fine the Old Street documentation is evidence in itself.
Jon: You (Sylvia) can’t deny that.
<Major going back and forth and trust me too much to even try to write down gang!!!!!>
At 2:24 Jim suggested we call executive College session and he pleased ask that both Jon and Sylvia excuse us and leave the room.
Ginger: As of today Sylvia’s suspension is up.
Jim: Move that she be permanently removed from the College.
Christina (and Gypsy almost at the same time): Second
Ginger: All those in favor (everyone raised hand).
Ginger: As Representative I can’t vote per the protocol manual. What about membership?
Tom, Jim and Jeff: Use my letter I already drafted to send.
It was agreed Jeff would submit letter to Ginger to then be forwarded onto the acting membership chairs, Michael Connley and Jon Wagner.
Ginger will send the letter to the rest of the College with the minutes.
Ginger: Call for an adjournment,@ 2:41. Jim first and Christina 2nd.
