October 20, 2008 Special Membership Meeting Minutes I.S.Q.C.C.B.E
In attendance: Dixie Crystals, Brooklyn Steele-Tate, Kathy King, Bob Gilbert, Truly Scrumptious, Karen Davis, Viagra Falls, Roberta Bigg, Roger Hilligoss, Linda Ochs, Mike Glassmeyer, Bobby Kettenacker, Greg Barker, Tom Wherry, Kevin Raleigh, Sam Clemons, Tamika, Scott Helton, D. Streine, Ed Blevins, Boyd Roberts, Michael Connley, Priscilla DeVille, Jay Rickles, Ginger Snap, Dennis DeClaire, Scott Steger, Mike Burke, Tom Dufeck, Conard Owens
Meeting was called to order by Kathy King, President ISQCCBE Board of Directors at 6:38 pm Purpose was read by HIM Brooklyn Steele-Tate, Vice-President ISQCCBE Board of Directors Kathy King explained the purpose of this meeting and why the orginal meeting was postponed - the reason being that an insufficient number of the members of the Board were available to form a quorum in order to vote for the originally scheduled time and date. None of the original complaintants are present for the meeting. The charges submitted by them are read. It was agreed to proceed as planned in order to formally dismiss or proceed with the charges. Kathy asked if anyone had any statements relating to the matter of Kevin McGraw vs. Conard Owens. No statements were made. Kathy then took several minutes to read all the emails regarding Kevin’s charges. Bob Gilbert then read Conard Owens’ response emails to the charges. Since no evidence was presented to substantiate the charges, a motion to dismiss the charges was made. 1st Ginger Snap 2nd Brooklyn Steele-Tate All approve motion to dismiss Issue 2 were charges filed by Mike Clarke vs Scott Helton. Mike Clarke was not present for the meeting. Scott Helton responds to charges and denies allegations. Since Mike was not present, a motion to dismiss was made. 1st Ginger Snap 2nd Brooklyn Steele-Tate All approve motion to dismiss Issue 3 was charges filed by Mike Clarke, Tom Dufeck, Mike Angeline, and Mike Burke vs Chuck Coleman. Tom spoke first and relayed his account of the yelling incident that occurred after voting at Shooters. Chuck (Priscilla) responded by saying that there was no yelling or cursing, but did admit to saying “her peace”. Bob Gilbert relayed his version of Mike Clarke making derogatory comments regarding Priscilla outside of Shooters. Ginger Snap then asked if the event was considered officially over at the time of the alleged incidents. Mike Burke then took the floor and started by stating that he didn’t approve of a member’s email earlier in the day voting on the issues before he heard the facts. He then proceeded to state that the bylaws have no “in effect” time and date. He then proceeded to state that on August 24th, 2008 at 8:10 pm Priscilla was insubordinate, created dissention, and brought discredit to the Court. In her rebuttal, Priscilla denied the entire incident. The motion was then brought to the Board to sever Priscilla’s membership All vote NO. Motion to reprimand was denied due to the fact that the Board does not have those powers given to it. Meeting was adjourned at 7:35.
