Meeting Minutes

Called To Order by Kathy King, President, at 7:01 pm
Purpose read by Ginger Snap
President: Kathy reminded everyone that the by-law
meeting would be held that Wednesday at 6:45 at the library. The decision
was then made to decide when the 2nd half of the bylaw meeting would be held
at that meeting since so many changes were proposed. She then asked for
volunteers to help collect tips at the Comedy event and announced that the
show was sold out for a total income of $3500.
Vice-President: Brooklyn announced that all newsletter
items were due to her by the 27th of May.
Secretary: Minutes distributed. Motion to approve
minutes with “for Coronation” added to the April Minutes for the money
donated by Roberta and Dixie from the dinner party.

Treasurer: Mike will be moving the $50 from “income”
to “coronation” category.
Treasurer’s report was reviewed.

Membership: Bob announced that we have 294 members on
the books. We took in $220 for the raffling of the laptop donated by Jim
Smith.
College: Calendar of Coronation events will be emailed
to Dixie and she will email it out to the masses.
Monarchs: Calendar of events for the next month was
reviewed.
Old Business:
Issues regarding all the lost photos on our website.
Michael Lakoff will be giving Mike Connley the information for other link
sites to post photos.
Richard Foster wants his medallion for Mr Trailer
Trash. The issue that he and Roxanne have not raised the $500 required of
the pageant winners was brought up. It was put forth that we should go
ahead and give him his medallion since Roxanne already has her crown.
Fighting with them about it was not worth the small amount of money we would
spend for the medallion.

will order the medallion.
Dennis is ready with the artwork for the t-shirts. He
will be getting the design to Mike Connley for formatting to jpeg and then
giving the design to Bob Kettenacker to get to the t-shirt printer.

Mike Burke is working on the bi-folds. Sam Clemons
working on Hospitality hours. Advertising pricing forthcoming from
Brooklyn. June 1st will be the advertising deadline. We have a 30 room
block reserved at the Holiday Inn Express at a cost of $120.20 per night
with tax.

Mike Connley has suggested a strict limit on the number
of drinks per person on the dais since the bill for that has become
exorbitant. It was agreed that a limit be set based on prices and the
number of dais guests.
Wade is offering to do the sound for $200.
Motion was put forth to raffle off a ticket package for
Coronation

It was decided to request 6 spots in the Pride Parade
line.
Michael Lekoff spoke to the room regarding the Bingo
event scheduled for June. He would be passing all the relevant info to
Priscilla to pass onto the BOD.
Della from PrideLove spoke to the room regarding the
SpeedDating event at Bronz. No investment on the Court’s part would be
needed just an emcee or host/hostess. Brooklyn accepted the spot.

Dixie brought up that Linda Ochs would like us to have
a show or fundraiser to help support the Healing Weekend. It was decided
that we could do this as soon as the 501(c)3 certificate was received from
Linda in order to follow IRS regulations.
Dixie also brought up that Robbie Howard would like us
to provide bartenders and entertainers for an all day event at Bar Monet on
May 31. Even though alot of people would be in Buffalo, the go ahead was
given by Priscilla.
Mike Burke re-capped the June 27th event at Adonis.
Krystal Kurler will be coordinating the opening number. Bricks were costing
$250. Ed Blevins will be handling the ticket sales - 300 total tickets
available to benefit PFLAG and Equality Cincinnati - at a cost of $15 a
piece.
