Board of Directors/General Membership Meeting Minutes

I.S.Q.C.C.B.E.

Called to Order by Kathy King, President at 6:58 pm

Purpose read by Jim Smith

President

Kathy stated that the by law changes were completed the past week.  The past weekend was Pride weekend, and a bunch of us were on tv.

Where the Comedy Show for the GLBT Center was supposed to be designated for Pride, it seems there is some controversy as to how that money is supposed to be being used.  From now on, when doing a fundraiser, we need to specifically designate what we want the funds donated to and used for.  Mike Connley suggested that we get an explanation from someone at the GLBT Center about where the money is going before we start writing checks.

Bill Abney was responsible for us not being listed on any of the flyers promoting Pride Weekend.

Kathy stated that we will be meeting next month at MCC again for the Board meeting.

Brooklyn stated that all items for the newsletter must be in by June 26th and that Coronation items are due by August 1st.  We are requiring 50% down on ads this year.
