Board of Directors/General Membership Meeting Minutes

I.S.Q.C.C.B.E.

In attendance:  Maxie Malone, Kathy King, Michael Cotrell, Mike Burke, Poison Ivy, Priscilla De Ville, Michael Connley, Bob Gilbert, Ginger Snap, Dan Smith, Jeffrey Stemmer.

The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Kathy King, President.  Our organizations purpose was read by Maxie Malone.

The minutes of our previous meeting were passed out by Maxie Malone and a motion was submitted for their approval.  The minutes were approved – 1^st Ginger, 2^nd Brooklyn, all approve

President:

Kathy began the meeting by stating that she did not have Nicole come up to the last meeting to attack us but only to help answer questions about the Parliament issue.  Kathy extended an apology to anyone who was upset over the last meeting.

Kathy submitted a motion to the board to approve the Audit Committee report that was presented by Mike Connley at the last meeting.  1^st Ginger, 2^nd Maxie, all approve.

Kathy, Maxie, Brooklyn formed a committee to attend one of Lexington’s Business Meetings to see how things are done at that court to aide in our attempt to split our bylaws into bylaws and standard operating procedures.

Vice-President:

Articles for the newsletter must be in Brooklyn’s hands by 6-25-2008 

Brooklyn submitted proposed guidelines for the election of the Parliament Position.   A discussion was had and the subject was tabled until next month for the board members to look over the proposal.

Treasurer:

The current months Treasurer’s Report was passed out by Mike Connley.  Key points were discussed and a motion was submitted for its approval. 1^st Brooklyn, 2^nd Ginger, all approve.

Membership:

Bob informed the board that we currently have 213 members.

College:  Ginger Snap:

Items were discussed about Tiara and what was going on with Christina’s crown and the problems with Tim and Andrea.

A discussion was had on what we were going to do about Oxana and her anniversary walk.  It was determined that Brooklyn will see if Tate could contact Oxana’s parents to see what they would like to have.

Ginger reminded everyone about the open College Meeting at Rosie’s.

Nominations were taken for members at large for Monarchial Interviews.  The following general members were nominated: Robert Vandenburg, Al Rizzotti, Dixie Crystals, Kevin McGraw, Harrison Jones, Greg Cox, Santana Storm, Wes Duncan and Viagra Falls.  After a vote the top 6 members are 1, Robert Vandenburg, Harrison Jones, and Greg Cox with Dixie Crystals, Al Rizzotti, and Santana Storm being named as alternatives.  Ginger will contact all of the above to see if they accept the appointment.

Monarchs:

Mike and Poison expressed a great big thank you to everyone who was at and helped with Pride this year.  Shows for the upcoming month were discussed.

Old Business:

Coronation Update – Brooklyn announced that she has met with the Monarchs several times this last month to tie up loose ends about coronation.  We are still looking at the budget and waiting for several bids to come in.

Ginger submitted a motion for all EOY money to go to Coronation as in the past.  1^st Ginger, 2^nd Maxie, all approve.

The listing of the committee chairs for Coronation was passed out.

Kinko’s – Credit cards have been handed out to the Board Members.

Bike Run – Dale needs the t-shirts which were purchased for the auction.  Rachael will contact Jim Smith and see that Dale gets the shirts.

Glammey’s – Brooklyn announced that they would be held during the month of August.

EOY – Mike announced that all was set and ready to go.

New Business:

A motion was submitted that all funds from Monarchial Candidate shows (unless otherwise designated by the Candidate) in August go to Coronation. 1^st Mike B., 2^nd Ginger, all approve

This months DOBE goes to Debi Daring.

Motion to adjourn was submitted at 8:24 – 1^st Ginger, 2^nd Poison, all approve
