Treasures Report

Total fundraising balance: $18,673.94

Amendments to Treasures Report:

                *$40.00 taken from Membership and put into fundraising

Gap form has been received and confirmed

Tree of life money is still outstanding from certain businesses

On Broadway raised the most money during the Tree of Life campaign

Analysis Service Charge – we are being charged for cash deposits; Jon will look into having this reimbursed to us

 College

College of Monarchs represented by Emperor 14 Tom Wherry due to Empress 12 Ginger Snap being out for work.

Monarchs:

College of Monarchs and Board of Directors had a meeting about coronation. All contracts are completed and forms have been given to Jon Wagner to write checks.

Coronation:

Out of Town Show will be held on the Queen City Riverboat – cost $20.00

Iowa show will be at Shooters from 11:30 – 1:00

Coronation will be held at Southgate House – cost $45.00

There will be a catered buffet style dinner

Victory Brunch will be held at Hamburger Mary’s – cost $25.00

Transportation will be provided from the hotel to each event and is include in the cost.

Host Hotel:

Comfort Suites - $85.49 per night

There are 48 rooms on hold now with a possibility of 60 rooms maximum on hold

Reservations need to made through the local number not the 1-800 number.

There will be after hour hospitality.

You will need to request a smoking room

Please TIP your servers- they will be waiting on each table.

Miss Queen City is January 22 at The Dock. There is a $5.00 cover charge but all the money comes to us.

Miami University show is tentatively set for February 16

Old Business

Bond Issue – no application filled out due to too much personal information needed.

Want to designate 2 depositors to deposit only.

Treasure will not sign any checks but rather be a “bookkeeper” who keeps track of all the money issues.

Or

Assign someone to go over the books with the treasurer

No “partners” can sign

Keep the bylaws the same with changes if needed

Derek will email all information obtained to the board members for review until next month.

Committee research – treasure needs to be bonded due to us being 5013C

Given one week to revise and email.

Amendment: We will continue business as usual until by-law meeting in May.

Norwood Skate Night – February 21st 7:30 – 10:00 pm. There will be a charge of $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids 13 and under and the money will go to Membership fund. Cover does not include skate rental.

New Business:

Tom Wherry – PFLAG banquet will be held on March 4. Do we want to place an advertisement in their program? We did last year but cost quotes were not available. Tabled till next meeting

Money from closing show “The Flame Still Burns” was put in by Miss Sylvia ($20.00)

 We can keep sending newsletters to member who needs to renew past the three month mark to make sure we have enough for bulk mailing
