Board of Directors/General Membership Meeting Minutes

I.S.Q.C.C.B.E.

 

In attendance:  Viagra Falls, Karen Davis, Maxie Malone, Brooklyn Stelle Tate, Kathy King, Mike Burke, Michael Connley, Greg Barker, Gene Sell, Bob Gilbert, Ginger Snap.

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by our President Kathy King.  Mike Burke read our organizations purpose.

 

The minutes from our last meeting were passed out by Maxie Malone and a motion was submitted for their approval.  1st Mike Connley, 2nd Greg Barker, all approve.

 

President:

 

On November 24, 2007, Mike Burke via email submitted a motion that the proceeds from the December 22nd show go to Face.  This motion was seconded by Brooklyn and subsequently approved by email vote of the board.

 

On December 4th Mike Connley submitted a motion by email that the court reimburse the student that made the cds for the last Spectrum the amount of $250.00.  This motion was seconded by Poison Ivy and was approved by email vote.

 

On December 13, 2007 an Executive Meeting was held by the Board of Directors and College at the Kenton County Public Library regarding Greg Barkers Motion concerning Miss Sylvia at the November Board Meeting.  The board is still working on this subject and will report when it is finalized.

 

Vice-President:

 

All items for this month’s newsletter must be in to Brooklyn by the 22nd.  Newsletter folding will be held on the 26th at Club Bronz.

 

 

Treasurer:

 

The current Treasurer’s Report was passed out by Mike C. and key items were discussed.  A motion was submitted for its approval. 1st Brooklyn, 2nd Maxie, all approve.

 

Membership:

 

Greg informed the board that we had 218 members the last time he checked, but a fore more have renewed since then.

 

Monarchs:

 

.Mike informed the board that we will be going to Caracole House on Thursday to distribute the gift cards.

 

The show scheduling meeting last week was unproductive and another meeting will be held sometime in January.

 

Shows for the upcoming month were discussed.

 

Member of the year will start sometime in January and will run through June.

College:

 

Ginger Snap present with nothing to report this month.

 

Old Business:

 

Coronation:  We are currently looking at 2 places for Coronation this year.  We may have to change the date this year to September 9th to be able to get the Bronz Room at the Millennium.

 

T-shirt Auction – Jim Smith not present this month.

 

Parliament Position – tabled until next month.

 

Pay pal – the system is now up and running from the website.

 

Seattle Woman’s Caucus – Krystal will be putting information in the newsletter when finalized.  Kathy King to contact female members for their input.

 

New Business:

 

A motion was submitted to direct the proceeds from the February 29th show to the American Cancer Society.  1st Mike Burke, 2nd Ginger Snap, all approve.

 

A motion was submitted to direct the proceeds from the March 7th Time Warp Show to the Anniversary Fund.  1st Ginger Snap, 2nd Kathy King, all approve.

 

A motion was submitted to include the money from the bus tour in the amount submitted for the Gap Match for Big Bob and Tamika’s Christmas Show.  1st Ginger, 2nd Mike Burke, all approve.

 

Board of Directors Violations – Greg Barker voiced his concerns on using email voting.  The issue was discussed and with all parties satisfied with the results.

 

General Membership Business:

 

None.

 

DOBE for this month will be Barry Flore.
