Board of Directors/General Membership Meeting Minutes

I.S.Q.C.C.B.E.

 

In attendance:  Maxie Malone, J.C. Dioz, Mike Burke, Karen Davis, Kathy King, Poison Ivy, Mike Glassmeyer, George Raligh, Mike Connley, Simone Gregory, Tamara Edwards, Brooklyn Steele-Tate, Bobby K., Jim Smith, Randy Bridges.

 

The meeting was called to order @7:01 P.M. by President Jon Wagner who read our organizations purpose.  The minutes of the previous meeting were passed out to the board and general membership and a motion was submitted for their approval.

President:

 

Jon passed out a thank you letter from Caracole.  In addition, Jon asked that any questions concerning Miss Sylvia be directed to him or Jim Smith only.

 

Vice-President:

 

Newsletter stuffing will be at Shooters @ 6:00 before the cocktail show next week.  Simone asked for help with the newsletter stuffing as this is a very hard thing to accomplish without any help.  She also asked for any suggestions on how to get more people involved.

 

Treasurer:

 

Mike C. passed out the treasurer’s report to the board and general membership.  A motion for approval was submitted.

Membership:

 

Tamara informed us that our current membership list consists of 211 members. 

 

Monarchs:

 

Shows for the Month of May were discussed.

Brooklyn submitted a motion that the funds from the May 4th show at Old Street go to Cure Our Kids.  1st Brooklyn, 2nd Simone.  All Approve.  A motion was also submitted that the funds from the April 20th show go to FACE.  1st Brooklyn, 2nd Mike, All approve.  Bobby K. made an announcement that Diane Gambels father had passed away and a motion was submitted to send flowers.  1st Bobby K., 2nd Simone, All approve.

 

College:

 

Jim Smith acting as College Rep. this month.  Jim informed the board as follows:

 

1). That the college met at Rosie’s on March 25 and during this meeting Ginger Snap resigned as College Rep, and that Jim Smith was elected as the new College Rep. to the Board of Directors.

2). that by unanimous vote of the College Miss Sylvia is being suspended until all issues are resolved.

3). That the following  members will be overseeing the below listed coronation areas: Sound & lighting – Ginger Snap; Tickets – Jeff Stemmer;  Hospitality – Ginger; In-Town Show – Ray & Christina; Out-of-Town Show – out of town ˝’s; Coronation Kickoff – ICPs; Program – Jim & Rachel; Protocol – Charity; Monarchs Show – Brooklyn & Bobby K.

 

Jim made a recommendation that the decade monarchs are responsible for raising the funds for the anniversary fund necessary for this year’s coronation and that a $600.00 cap should be placed on any expenditure.  Jim said that he would take control of the May 11th show at Shooters which will go to the anniversary fund.

 

Jim also informed the board that Truly has petitioned Imp chat to use the email address of Trulyofcinti.  After discussion, it was determined that there was no issue to discuss.  Jim proposed that we should trademark our titles.  He will research this point and report at the next board meeting.

 

Old Business:

 

Money handling guidelines: Jon informed the board that everything is working fine at the present time and we will just leave things as they are.

 

Court credit card:  tabled indefinitely.

 

T-shirt auction: Jim S. informed the board that the t-shirts had been purchased and that a committee meeting would be held by the end of April.

 

Change of meeting location - tabled

 

New Business: None

 

The Dobe for the month will go to Barry Flore.

 

A motion to adjourn the meeting was submitted at 8:02 P.M.
